This is an application for condonation of delay in preferring an appeal before this Court challenging judgment and order of conviction dated 29.9.2021 passed by learned Extra Joint Additional Sessions Judge, Amravati in Sessions Case No.30/2020.

Heard learned Additional Public Prosecutor Mrs.M.H.Deshmukh for the State. Also, gone through contents of the application.

The applicant is convicted for offence punishable under Section 376(2)(f) of the Indian Penal Code by judgment and order of conviction dated 29.9.2021 passed by learned .....2/-

appa6.22 2 Extra Joint Additional Sessions Judge, Amravati in Sessions Case No.30/2020. Learned Judge imposed sentence to undergo life imprisonment and payment of fine Rs.20,000/-. 5.

In view of facts that the applicant is convicted and is undergoing sentence of life imprisonment, the application for condonation of delay is required to be allowed inasmuch the applicant has to be given an opportunity to submit his case before the Court on merits.

Resultantly, the criminal application is allowed and disposed of. The delay stands condoned.
