The petition is for grant of extension of parole leave. Parole leave was granted by jail authorities vide order dated 26-6-2025. The petitioner was granted parole leave for 40 days. However, the present petition is filed seeking extension of said parole leave on the ground that mother of petitioner is seriously ill and suffering from Dystonia and was diagnosed of Intracerebral Haemorrhage. She was admitted to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur. We have requested learned Additional Public Prosecutor (APP) to verify this fact. Accordingly, learned APP verified the fact and submits that the grounds put forth by the petitioner are found true. Considering the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, we grant 15 days extension of parole to the petitioner. The petitioner shall surrender to the jail authorities on 21-8-2025.
