By this writ petition, the petitioners have sought a direction against the Education Officer to grant approval to the transfer of the petitioners.

It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the respondent nos.3 and 4 that during the pendency of the writ petition, the proposal for transfer of the petitioners is rejected.

In view of the aforesaid, since the cause for filing the writ petition is rendered infructuous, the writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
