In short, it is his contention that post of Sarpanch in the coming election should have been reserved for a particular category. He further states that the issue is still pending before the authority and has not been decided.

Considering the fact that the issue has not been decided by the authority, we direct Respondent No.3 to treat the present petition as a representation and decide the representation within two weeks from today.

Learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to produce copy of petition along with the order passed today before the respondent No.3 within a period of one week from today.
