These petitions are yet to be admitted. The petitioner seeks to question the vires of Section 23 (1)(a) and Section 21 (4) of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999.

The learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that at least three petitions involving the

Accordingly, we grant the petitioner leave to amend these petitions. The amendment to be carried out within two weeks from today and amended copies of the petitions be supplied to the learned counsel for the respondents. Reply, if any, to be filed on or before the next date.

The applications are disposed of.

Place the main Criminal Writ Petitions along with connected petitions i.e. Criminal Writ Petition No.436/2021, Criminal Application (APL) Nos.472/2021 and 448/2021 for further consideration on 6th January, 2022.
