By this Criminal Writ petition, the petitioner challenges the order of the Appellate Authority rejecting the application of the petitioner for providing further information on the application of the petitioner for extension of parole leave.

The petitioner was granted parole leave and the parole leave of the petitioner was extended on one occasion. When the petitioner again sought for extension of parole leave on the second occasion, the said application was not decided as the Authorities were directed to wait for some time as certain rules pertaining to parole and furlough leave were sought to be brought in force. Since the petitioner is not satisfied with the reply of the respondents, the petitioner has filed the instant petition. The extension of the parole leave was sought in the year 2016. If the parole leave was not extended on the

149wp791.17 2/2 aforesaid reason, it would not be proper for this Court to entertain the Writ Petition merely because the petitioner is not satisfied with the reply of the respondents for not deciding the application for extension of parole leave. In the future, if an occasion arises, the petitioner may apply for fresh parole leave. We are, however, not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition, at this stage in the circumstances. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. The professional fees of the learned Counsel for the petitioner are quantified at Rs.1,500/-.
