The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners seeks liberty to withdraw the petition with further liberty to make a representation to the State Government to reduce the percentage of the deduction of grants. The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to make a representation to the State Government. We make it clear that the State Government would decide the said representation on merits as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of making the said representation.
