The applicant has filed this criminal application apprehending his arrest in Crime No. 239 of 2025, registered with Police Station Khamgaon, City, District Buldhana for the offence punishable under Sections 109(1),352 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

The applicant has stated that the allegations about assault with knife are made. In this case, victim suo motu appeared and this Court has appointed the counsel from Legal Aid Panel.

The learned counsel appearing for applicant has stated that the main accused in this case is arrested and released on bail. The knife is already recovered. The role of this applicant is that he hold the hands of the victim. The Kavita
2 / 2 10- aba 587- 2025 applicant is on ad-interim protection and he is attending the police station regularly. The learned APP has stated that he is co-operating with the investigating machinery. The learned counsel appearing for the non applicant No.2 has opposed the application stating that considering the role of this applicant, the application be rejected.
4. Considering the role played by this applicant, and as the interim protection is already granted, the same is confirmed on the same terms and conditions.
Hence, the following orderi] The application is allowed. ii] The order dated 07/08/2025 granting ad-interim anticipatory bail is confirmed.
