By this petition, the petitioner has challenged the cancellation of the approval to his appointment by the order dated 18/09/2014. According to the petitioner, the impugned order could not have been passed against the petitioner without granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
It is stated on behalf of the parties that during the pendency of the writ petition, the Education Officer, Chandrapur has heard the petitioner in the matter of cancellation of approval. It is sated that no decision is taken on the said issue as the writ petition is pending. In view of the subsequent development, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Education Officer, Chandrapur to take a decision in the matter of cancellation of approval of the petitioner as early as possible and positively within a period of four weeks. Since the impugned order was passed without hearing the petitioner, the same may not be acted upon.
Order accordingly. No order as to costs.
