As per Clause 3(G)(3) of the Government Resolution (G.R.) dated 14/09/2018 issued by the Public Health Department, the petitioner has a remedy to approach before the authority for certification of percentage of disability in relation to hearing. This is in the backdrop that there is a certificate which certifies the petitioner's disability to the extent of 44%, whereas a communication dated 18/02/2025 issued by the Chairman of Medical Board refers to a report of medical examination of the petitioner which discloses the disability percentage as 83.03 as per the ENT opinion.

In the circumstances, as per the above referred Clause of G.R. dated 14/09/2018, the petitioner may approach before the concerned authority and get himself examined through such authority.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of in above referred terms.

If the petitioner approaches before the authority as prescribed in the G.R. dated 14/09/2018 within a period of three weeks from today, the concerned authority is directed to examine the petitioner and issue certificate within a period of three weeks thereafter.
