The applicant is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No.471/2023 registered with Police Station, Seloo, Dist. Wardha for the offence punishable under Sections 65(E) and 77(A) of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act.

Heard learned counsel for the applicant as well as learned APP for the non-applicant/State.

In reply learned APP has submitted that custodial interrogation of the applicant is not required but he should attend each and every Inshtegasha proceeding before the Police Inspector, Local Crime Branch, Wardha. Learned APP further submitted that police is not intending to arrest the applicant. 4.

In response, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is ready to cooperate in the investigation and attend each and every date in aforesaid proceeding.

In view of above, the apprehension of arrest does not remain. Hence, the application for anticipatory bail does not survive. Accordingly, the application is disposed of as infructuous. JUDGE Wagh
