The applicant is seeking bail in Crime No. 193 of 2022, registered with Police Station Bitergaon, District: Yavatmal, for the offence punishable under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code,1860.

The allegations show that because of harassment at the hands of the applicant and continuous demand for physical relation, the daughter-in-law of the applicant has committed suicide.

It is submitted that the applicant is in jail since 29.06.2022 and the custody of the applicant is not necessary, as after completion of investigation, the chargesheet has been filed. Thus, as the investigation is completed further custody of the applicant is not necessary, I am of the opinion that, the applicant is entitled for grant of bail. Hence, I pass the following order:

73 ba1226.2022.odt a) The criminal application is allowed.

b) It is directed that the applicant shall be released on bail in Crime No. 193 of 2022, registered with Police Station Bitergaon, District: Yavatmal, for the offence punishable under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code,1860, on furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount.

c) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station as and when his presence is required. d) The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses.

e) The applicant shall not leave the jurisdiction of the concerned Police station without permission of the Court.

The criminal application is disposed of, accordingly.
