According to him, the father of the petitioner died on 30.04.1994 and thereafter, he made an application for grant of compassionate appointment.

We have gone through the record. It appears that, after the death of father of the petitioner in the year 1994, the petition was filed in the year 2017 and the objections were removed in the year 2023. There is absolutely no reason which are coming for such a huge delay. No plausible reasons are advanced by the counsel, for delay in prosecuting the matter.

It is needless to mention that the aim behind grant of compassionate appointment is to provide immediate help to the family. Since more than 31 years have passed, we are not inclined to entertain the petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs. [RAJNISH R. VYAS, J] [ANIL S.
