DATED : SEPTEMBER 17, 2019 Heard learned counsel for the applicant / appellant. The applicant / appellant is seeking enhancement of compensation by way of accompanying appeal. By this application, the applicant / appellant is seeking condonation of delay of 595 days in filing accompanying appeal. It is informed by the learned counsel appearing for the applicant / appellant that number of appeals arising from the same exercise of acquisition of land have been admitted by this Court.

In that view of the matter, delay of 595 days in filing accompanying appeal is condoned on the condition that the applicant / appellant shall not be entitled for the interest for the said period in the event this Court grants enhanced compensation to the appellant.
