Shri A.M. Balpande, A.G.P. for the R-1 to 4.

CORAM : SMT. VASANTI A NAIK AND MRS. SWAPNA JOSHI, JJ.

DATE : DECEMBER 7 , 2016.

By this writ petition, the petitioners have sought a declaration that Clause Nos.2 and 3 of Government Resolution, dated 01.04.2016 that applies the principle of 'No Work No Pay' for surplus employees of Ashram School, is bad in law.

Shri Balpande, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, states that the Government Resolution, dated 01.04.2016 is quashed by this Court in Writ Petition Nos.5289 of 2016 and others, and directions are issued to pay the salary to the surplus employees and to absorb them on priority basis. It is stated that in pursuance of the directions issued in the aforesaid writ petitions, the State Government has issued a corrigendum, dated 17.10.2016. It is stated that in view of the orders passed in the aforesaid writ petitions, the grievance of the petitioner should stand redressed.

WP5611-16 In view of the statements made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, we dispose of the writ petition as the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. There would be no order as to costs.
