The petitioner who is working with respondent 5 School is seeking appropriate writ or direction in the nature of mandamus that the 7th standard of her employer is entitled to receive 20% grant-in-aid from the year 2010. 2.
Ms. Khan, the learned AGP questions the locus of the petitioner on the premise that it is the employer/institution which, if at all, can question the action impugned.

We note that the respondent 5 employer has not questioned the action impugned.

We decline to entertain the petition at the instance of an employee.

We however, clarify that we are not considered
wp7896.19.O.odt the contentions raised on merit. If the employer/institution chooses to challenge the refusal of grant-in-aid, the contentions shall be considered on their own merit in appropriate proceedings.
