DATE : December 18, 2021 The petitioner who is working as Junior Engineer with Nagar Panchayat, Sadak Arjuni intends to appear for Municipal Engineering Service-Civil Class-C (Grade-C). On 04/12/2021 he had sought leave on 19/12/2021 and 20/12/2021 for appearing for the said examination. Since no decision was taken on that application he has moved the present writ petition with an additional prayer that the said examination as scheduled be postponed.
Shri N. R. Patil, learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1,2 and 4 was on 17/12/2021 requested to obtain instructions from the concerned respondents as regards the fate of the application moved by the petitioner. Today Shri N. R. Patil, learned Assistant Government Pleader has placed on record communication dated 17/12/2021 which is taken on record and marked 'A' for identification by which the Returning Officer has sanctioned leave as sought by the petitioner. Similar directions have also been issued by the
32-WP-5371-21 2/2 respondent No.2 to all Municipal Councils and Municipal Corporations in the State to make such opportunity available to candidates desiring to appear for the said examination.
