INDIRA JAIN, JJ.

DATE : 20.08.2016 The only prayer made by the petitioner in this petition is for a direction to the respondent no.1 - Wakf Board to decide the objection of the petitioner dated 25.5.2016, registered as Case No.36/2015, within a time frame.

Shri Muley, the learned Counsel for the petitioner states that though the objection of the petitioner to the registration of the Trust was filed in the year 2015 and the matter was partly heard by the Wakf Board on the objection, the same is simply adjourned and is not taken up for further hearing. It is stated that as the petitioner has raised the objection against the

registration of a Trust, it would be necessary to direct the respondent no.1 to decide the objection, within a time frame. Since the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is innocuous, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.1- Board to decide the objection of the petitioner as early as possible and positively within six months. Order accordingly. No costs.
