It is apparent that when petitioner applied for recruitment with the respondent, he was beyond the age of 33 years. Infact he was aged about 33 years and 8 months. The maximum age for employment in service is 33 years. However, the application of petitioner was processed by the respondent and he appeared for the examination and document verification was also done. Thereafter, petitioner is held to be age barred.

Once it is found that the petitioner is age

Order 0410wp6753.19 barred, unless there is power to relax the age in the authority, the relief claimed in this petition cannot be granted. Writ Petition is, therefore, dismissed. No costs.
