Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Since the order under challenge is innocuous, we dispense with the notice to the respondent no.3.

The case of the petitioners is, the husband of the petitioner no.1 and father of the petitioner no.2 expired on 25.11.2004 while he was in employment with the respondent no.3. The prayer for grant of compassionate appointment of the petitioner no.1 since was time barred, a request is made for substitution which request is informed to have been not attended till this date.

That being so, we deem it appropriate to direct the respondent no.3 to treat copy of this petition with its annexures as the representation of the petitioners and to consider the prayer of the petitioner no.1 for grant of substitution of the candidature of the petitioner no.2 for compassionate appointment in accordance with the judgment of the Full Bench of this Court in Writ Petition No. 3701/2022 (Kalpana wd/o Vilas Taram and another vs. State of Maharashtra and others ) with connected writ petitions decided on 28.05.2024, within a period of six weeks from the date of production

With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
