DATE : 25.11.2016 By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction against the respondent no.3 - Scrutiny Committee to decide the claim of the petitioner of belonging to Rajput Bhamta Vimukta Jati. The petitioner seeks the protection of his services, till his caste claim is decided.

Shri Phadnis, the learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is desirous of seeking the protection of his services, in view of the judgment of the Full Bench and is therefore, desirous of getting his claim of belonging to Rajput Bhamta Vimukta Jati verified from the Scrutiny Committee. Shri Joshi, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondent - Scrutiny Committee states, on

2511wp5748.16.odt instructions, that the claim of the petitioner of belonging to Rajput Bhamta Vimukta Jati is pending before the Scrutiny Committee and the same would be decided as early as possible. Since the caste claim of the petitioner is pending, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner as early as possible and positively within one year. The services of the petitioner are protected, till his caste claim is decided. Order accordingly. No costs.
