On 5th January, 2023 time was granted to the learned counsel for the petitioner to substitute the name of deceased President of the Society with the present incumbent. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that three members in the Managing Committee of the Society have expired and that there are no proper instructions received for prosecuting the writ petition. It is thus prayed that the writ petition may be permitted to be withdrawn with liberty to revive the prayers if the grievance of the Society survives.

We find that in absence of representation on behalf of the Society, it would not be possible to proceed with the adjudication of the present writ petition. The writ petition is therefore permitted to be withdrawn. No costs.
