OCTOBER 03, 2025 1) The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent No.3 has blocked the Electronic Credit Ledger (ECL) under Rule 86A of the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Rules, 2017. The ECL is blocked for an amount of Rs.4,14,082.40/- 2) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on 18/09/2025, the respondent No.3 has taken corrective steps and unblocked the input tax credit under Rule 86A(2) of the CGST Rules, 2017.
3) Thus, the grievance of the petitioner has been resolved. The counsel however, pressed for order of compensation on the ground that petitioner could not operate his business. We are unable to assess compensation for want of necessary details. Nonetheless if the petitioner has indeed suffered losses on the aforesaid count, he is at liberty to file appropriate proceeding for seeking compensation against the respondent.
4) With the aforesaid liberty and as the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed, we disposed of the petition. ( JUDGE ) ( JUDGE ) KOLHE
