DATE : 09.02.2024 This is an application seeking for condonation of delay of 20 days caused in filing an appeal challenging the decree of the Family Court by which ex-parte decree of divorce has been passed against the applicant/wife.

Notice of this application was served in pursuance of which the respondent has appeared through Advocate but did not file reply. Today also no one is present for respondent. We have considered the submissions and the reasons stated for the delay. This being a matrimonial dispute and Prity

2 / 2 930.cao1282.2023 the decree of divorce was ex-parte. Considering the reasons stated above and the short length of delay, we are inclined to accept the reason.

The civil application is allowed. We hereby condone the delay caused in preferring appeal.

The civil application stands disposed of accordingly and appeal be registered.
