SEPTEMBER 19, 2024 By present application, the applicant/ respondent no.2 is seeking permission to correct his father's name in the cause-title of the petition. 2] As such, the petition has been disposed of vide order dated 1/8/2024 noting therein that none is appearing for the petitioner. The petition has been dismissed as not prosecuted. Thereafter, this Court permitted respondent no.2 to withdraw the amount of compensation deposited by the petitioner.

3] The learned Counsel for respondent no.2 approached the Registry for withdrawal of amount. However, the Registry refused to entertain the request on the ground that the name of respondent no.2 has been incorrectly written as "Shri Shrikant S/o Amirka Pande" instead of "Shri Shrikant S/o Ambika Pande". Hence, this application.

10-CAW-2461-2024 4] In view of above, there appears no reason why should the request be not allowed.

5] Accordingly, the application filed by respondent no.2 is allowed, as prayed for. Necessary corrections be made forthwith.

6] The application is disposed of in above terms.
