Date : 2 nd September, 2015 The Maharashtra Revenue Tribunal has recorded the finding that the petitioner has not produced anything on record to show that he was a tenant in respect of the suit land from the year 1958-59. The 7/12 extract of the year 1995 making a reference to the tenancy rights as per the list of 1958-59 has been considered. The list of tenancy rights prepared under Section 8 of the Bombay Tenancy and Agricultural Lands (Vidarbha Region) Act, 1958 has not at all been produced on record. The petitioner has failed to enter the witness-box. The Maharashtra Revenue Tribunal has taken a possible view of the matter, which does not call for any interference. The petition is dismissed.
