The parties have jointly filed aforesaid Pursis which is signed by them, stating that the claim for compensation filed under Section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, stands settled, with the respondent nos. 1 and 2 accepting total compensation of Rs. 4,75,000-00 [rupees four lakhs seventy-five thousand only]. The said amount is agreed to be shared equally between respondent nos. 1 and 2.

The parties are present before the Court and are

identified by their respective counsel. The Pursis is taken on record and marked 'A' for identification.

In view of joint Pursis, the proceedings stand disposed of in those terms. The appellant would be entitled to refund of statutory amount of Rs.25,000-00 [rupees twenty-five thousand only] with accrued interest.
