01] This Court in Writ Petition No.4669/2019 had directed the Grampanchayat, Dhargaon, District Bhandara to consider issuance of No Objection Certificate to the petitioner for setting up Common Biomedical Waste Treatment Facility (CBWTF). Since the Grampanchayat had not taken the necessary steps, this contempt petition has been filed.

02] After notice was issued, a Pursis has been filed on behalf of the respondent No.12 - Secretary of the Grampanchayat stating that on 03.03.2022, the Grampanchayat has passed a resolution and has resolved to grant No Objection Certificate to the petitioner. In the light of the said Pursis, the direction issued in para 7 of Writ Petition No.4669/2019 stands complied with.

03] The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the No Objection Certificate is required to be submitted to the Maharashtra

2/2 Pollution Control Board by 15.03.2022. The Grampanchayat may do the needful by 13.03.2022. In view of aforesaid compliance, the contempt petition is disposed of.
