The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the categorization of the petitioner in category 6(b) is incorrect.

The petitioner has been categorized in the said category since the petitioner has been twice convicted for life imprisonment. The said fact has also been considered by the Division Bench of this Court in its judgment and order dated 12.03.2014 in Criminal Appeal No.46 of 2000 with Criminal Appeal No.789 of 2001.

In that view of the matter, the categorization of the petitioner in category 6(b) made by the respondents is correct. Writ petition is rejected.
