In furtherance of our order dated 1st October, 2024, the learned AGP was directed to take instructions and Mr. Halke representing the respondentAuthorities made a categorical statement before us that the petitioner was listed in the list of eligible candidates to fill up the post of adjunct faculty in the Electrical Department but, he has instructions to make statement that the post has already been filled in by some eligible candidate. In the wake of aforesaid statement, Mr. Patil do not press the relief sought in the application. Hence, Civil Application No.2445/2024 is disposed of. However, Mr. Patil would express urgency in deciding the main writ petition and we deem it appropriate to direct the same to be listed on 21st October, 2024. We expect the respondents to complete the pleadings before the next date.
