The learned counsel for the petitioner states that though the proposal for grant of approval to the appointment of the petitioner on the post of headmaster is pending since 07/07/2015, the Education Officer has not decided the same.

Since the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Education Officer to decide the proposal of the petitioner as early as possible and positively within four months, after hearing the concerned parties. Order accordingly. No costs.
