Learned APP, on instructions submits that application be allowed by filing this, petitioner has sought permission to amend the petition thereby adding respondent nos. 5 to 8 in their personal capacity, who are alleged to be concerned police officers. In view of the facts mentioned in the application, Criminal application is allowed. The petitioner to add the proposed respondent nos.5 to 8 as mentioned in paragraph no.2 of the Application. The amendment be carried out within four weeks. On effecting amendment, notice be issued to newly added respondents, returnable three weeks thereafter, Criminal Application No.228/2018 is another application for effecting amendment with respect to the allegations involving newly added respondent nos.5 to 8. Since application to implead respondent nos. 5 to 8 is allowed as afore-stated, the subsequent facts are also rquired to be brought on record by effecting amendment. Hence, the
application is allowed. Necessary amendment be carried out in the Writ petition within four weeks. The petitioner to serve amended copy of petition to respondents as well as the newly added respondents. Stand over after eight weeks.
