By this petition, the petitioner impugns the order of the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Gadchiroli dated 17-6-2015 rejecting the prayer of the petitioner for promotion on the post of Extension Officer.

Shri Kadu, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent no. 1 states that this Court may not entertain the writ petition as the petitioner has directly approached this Court without availing the alternate remedy available under Rule 14(1)(b) of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishad District Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1964.
