The only prayer made in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondent no.1 to grant approval to the appointment to the petitioner as a headmistress. According to the petitioner, though the petitioner was promoted as a headmistress on 01.12.2011 and the proposal for grant of approval to her appointment was submitted to the respondent no.1 on 02.05.2012, the proposal is not decided till date. The petitioner, therefore, seeks a direction against the respondent no.1 to decide the proposal expeditiously.

Since the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous and since the respondent no.1 has not decided the proposal for grant of approval to the appointment of the petitioner as a headmistress, till date, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.1 to decide the proposal of the petitioner as early as possible and positively within ten weeks.
