By this writ petition, the petitioner, who is in jail is praying for his release on furlough leave. 3.

The petitioner is represented by Ms. Aarti Singh, learned counsel appointed by the High Court Legal Services Sub- Committee.

Today, when this writ petition came up for admission, Mrs. N.R. Tripathi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State, upon instructions from the respondent authorities makes a statement that the petitioner is already released on the emergency parole. 5.

Her statement is accepted.

In that view of the matter, nothing survives in this writ petition.
