The nature of relief claimed in the petition viz. extension of benefit as reflected in the Government Resolution dated 30.04.1998 as was endorsed by the judgment of this Court in Writ Petition No. 2358 of 2013 (Kiran Namdeo Shinde and ors. vs. The State of Maharashtra and others) with connected writ petitions decided on 21.09.2013 at Principal Seat and the Government Resolution dated 02.03.2019. As such, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with directions to the respondent nos. 1, 2 and 3 to decide the claim of the petitioners of extending the same benefit in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of three months from the date of production of copy of this order.

With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
