FEBRUARY 5, 2025 The learned Counsel for the petitioner is seeking adjournment.

2] Perused record. The order impugned is dated 10/8/2020. The petition was filed on 3/10/2022. Objections were removed on 11/1/2023. The petition was listed on 4/5/2023 and upon request made by the petitioner's Counsel, the petition was adjourned after vacation. Thereafter, the petition is listed today. The learned Counsel for the petitioner is seeking adjournment.

3] The challenge is to the order granting approval to the appointment of respondent no.4 for the post of 'Secretary, Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Shegaon'.

4] The order impugned is of the year 2020;

five years have passed. The petitioner has not taken any steps to get the petition listed immediately after filing the petition. Considering the above chronology, the petition ought to be dismissed for delay and laches.
