Heard learned counsel for the rival parties. Perused the charge-sheet as well as the reply filed on behalf of the non-applicant.

This is a case of gang-rape. The girl is a minor. The applicant was arrested on 17.2.2015 and since then he is in jail. In my view, it is necessary to expedite the trial rather than considering the plea of the applicant for bail, since the allegations against the applicant are of heinous nature. Hence this order :

ORDER

Criminal Application (BA) No. 800/2015 is rejected. However, the learned trial Judge is directed to expedite and complete the trial within a period of four months from today.
