It is seen on perusal of the record that the vehicle in question was given in custody of the petitioner by the original owner pursuant to the Hire agreement dated 16.02.2024. The copy of the agreement is on record. The agreement is valid up to 06.01.2025. The petitioner is not the owner of the vehicle.

In view of this, the learned Advocate for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition, with liberty to make a fresh application through the owner of the vehicle for the custody of the vehicle. The petition stands disposed of as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for.

As and when an application is made by the owner for return of the vehicle, it must be disposed of in accordance with law.
