APRIL 13, 2017 The matter was listed yesterday and an order has been passed. However, before the order could be transcribed and placed for our signature, the registry pointed out a communication dated 03.04.2017 sent by the Superintendent of Morshi Open Prison to the Registrar, which was received by the registry on 07.04.2017.

As per that communication, the representation of the petitioner has been looked into and he has been categorized under category 4 (d) and he is asked to undergo total imprisonment for 24 years with remission. The action imprisonment ordered is of 14 years.

Learned counsel Mrs. Dhotre informs that the prisoner has already undergone imprisonment of 22 years and 3 months approximately with remission.
