Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition for grant of divorce bearing HMP No. 227 of 2013 has been decided finally and said petition filed by the present petitioner has been allowed. He, therefore, submits that as the order impugned in the present Writ Petition was to operate only till final decision of the proceedings the challenge to the same has been rendered infructuous.
By order dated 05.11.2014 petitioner was directed to deposit an amount of Rs. 15,000/- towards arrears of maintenance. Said amount has been duly deposited.
In view of decision of the main proceedings the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. However, amount of Rs. 15,000/- shall be paid to the respondent by drawing a demand draft in her name and sending it to her at the address given by her by registered post.
