AUGUST 25, 2025 The application is filed for condonation of delay of 344 days in preferring the appeal against conviction. In paragraphs 2 and 4, the applicant has set out sufficient reasons for condoning the delay, which read as under :

"2. That being aggrieved by the impugned judgment and order of conviction dated 10/07/2024 the appellant has preferred appeal on the grounds mentioned in the memorandum of appeal, along with this application for condonation of delay of 344 days.

3. .....

4. That the impugned judgment and order against which the appeal preferred before this Hon'ble Court was passed on 10/07/2024 and the prescribed limitation for filing appeal being 60 days. The appeal ought to have been filed on or before 08/09/2024. That the appellant/ accused being behind bars since 23/04/2017 and his family economical status being financially week, the appellant could not approach this Hon'ble Court earlier and thus delay of 344 days is caused in filing appeal." 2] Hence, we condone the delay of 344 days in preferring the appeal. The Registry is directed to register the appeal in accordance with rules.
