Prayer is to condone the delay in filing the appeal. The reasons for cause of delay are mentioned in paragraph 2 of the civil application. The prayer is however opposed by the learned counsel for the non-applicant.
Considering the reasons mentioned, the delay in filing the appeal stands condoned subject to the applicant not being entitled for interest on the amount of compensation, if enhanced for the period from 01.09.2016 to 08.09.2017. The delay is condoned on the aforesaid terms.
