DATE : 01.12.2016 The only prayer made by the petitioner in the instant petition is for a direction to the Collector to decide the application made by the petitioner for including the name of the petitioner in the CL-III licence.

On a perusal of the writ petition, we find that though the petitioner has joined the Collector as the only respondent to this writ petition, the application for inclusion of the name of the petitioner is addressed only to the Superintendent and not to the Collector, though a copy is forwarded to the Collector. Since it is stated on behalf of the parties that the Collector would be the appropriate authority for deciding the application, we dispose of the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to file an appropriate application before the Collector and with a direction to the Collector to decide the application, if made, as early as possible.

Order accordingly. No costs.
