By this application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the applicant / accused has prayed that the F.I.R. registered against him for offence punishable under Section 420 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code be quashed.
Today learned A.P.P. has informed that F.I.R. No.156/2014 was also registered against the applicant for similar offence on complaint lodged by some other investor. It is further submitted that various complaints are lodged by different investors at different police stations. Learned Advocate for the applicant / accused has not controverted the submission made by the learned A.P.P.
In the facts of the case, specially considering that the trial has commenced before Special Court in F.I.R. No.156/2014, we are not inclined to exercise
2 apl749.15 inherent jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The criminal application is dismissed.
