By this cross objection, the respondent/cross objector sought modification of the impugned order for grant of enhanced maintenance at the rate of Rs.1,500/- per month.

2] By the impugned judgment and order, the petition for divorce filed by the appellant was dismissed, while the petition seeking maintenance was partly allowed on directing the appellant to pay the maintenance at the rate of Rs.750/- per month to the respondent.

3] The record shows that the appeal stood dismissed for want of prosecution by an order dated 01.03.2017. Accordingly, only cross objection is listed for hearing before this Court.

2 208.xob.26.2009 4] When the matter was called out for hearing, none has appeared on behalf of the respondent/cross objector. Hence, the cross objection is dismissed for want of prosecution. No costs.
