It is petitioner's contention that there was no acquisition of land bearing Gat No. 249/2-A of Gram Panchayat, Ajani. However, the respondents are bent upon to take possession, wherein, there are standing crops. The State has filed a reply affidavit stating that the land which was acquired was bearing Gat No. 249/2, which was subsequently numbered as land Gat No. 249/2-B. In short, it is contended that the State has no concern with the land Gat No. 249/2-A, which has also been clarified in the reply. It is the contention of the State that possession of acquired land was already taken in the year, 2012 as well as compensation has been paid.

In view of above, we clarify that since the land Gat No. 249/2-A has not been acquired, no steps for taking possession shall be taken in that regard. In view of above petition stands disposed.
