DATED : DECEMBER 7, 2023 Prima facie we are of the view that the issue involved in this petition is covered by the judgment of this Court in Writ Petition No.903/2020 (Raja Tukaram Shinde vs. The State of Maharashtra and another) and other connected petitions, delivered on 4/5/2021.

2) This Court in order dated 4/10/2023 has already observed that the petitioner's services were not liable to be placed on a supernumerary post, but protection was in relation to his posting on regular post.

3) As such, we direct the respondent no.2 to pass a fresh order in accordance with the aforesaid judgment dated 4/5/2021 delivered at Aurangabad Bench in Writ Petition No.903/2020 (Raja Tukaram Shinde vs. The State of Maharashtra and another) and other connected petitions and such corrective order be communicated to the petitioner
