By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction against the State Government to appoint Municipal Council, Buldhana as a work implementing agency for the purpose of special road grants and Vaishistyapurna Yojna.

It appears that the issue involved in this case was also involved in Writ Petition No.2608 of 2016 (Sudhir Daulatchand Kothari v. The State of Maharashtra and others) and this Court has, by the judgment dated 26/08/2016 dismissed a similar prayer made by the petitioner therein. Since the issue stands answered against the petitioner, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed. Hence, for the reasons recorded in the judgment dated 26/08/2016 in Writ Petition No.2608 of 2016, we dismiss this writ petition with no order as to costs.
