This matter pertains to the failure of the concerned authorities to remove the encroachment made on the public road, which has caused significant inconvenience to the petitioners, as they are unable to move their vehicles freely on the said public road.

The petitioners have made a representation dated 11.07.2025 before the Collector, Amravati, who is the competent authority to remove the encroachment, in the event the Grampanchayat fails to remove the encroachment, which is still pending.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondent No.2-Collector, Amravati to take decision on the representation of the petitioners dated 11.07.2025 within four weeks from today.

The learned AGP to undertakes to communicate this order to the Collector, Amravati.
